| Back Office Guy- ![]() | I would say the intergrated graphics, you can tell this usually by it lagging when their is a lot of action around. I have a very poor graphics card 8Mb Things like smoke or shadows, basically any sprites that need to be constantly redrawn will make you suffer with a poor graphics setup. And rember even if you have say a 64mb intergrated it still has to compete with the cpu for cycles. I would look for some cod config commands usually from the command line to reduce some of the special effects to lower the demand on your system. Turning things off like the bullets casing, shadows, blood and gore can give a significant improvment. Though the best solution is get a decicated graphics card. I am looking at the ATI 9550 256MB 8XAGP retails for around £45 but gets good reviews for playing recent games at good rates. Also it can be overclocked i belive into a 9600 | ||

I did lag, so I bought a 256mb graphics card, that didnt help (lol) i found the problem was my virus protecter (mcafee) I have to sign in to my privacy service to sort the lag out, if its not that try making the graphic details to low instead if extra (options) Buy cod2 and join the clan!!!!

| Back Office Guy- ![]() | sometimes it is handy to create a gaming profile that just loads the essential programs that you need to free up as much sys resources as possible as sloth says. I do believe their is a flag for some games to force more resources to it but you would have to search to find apporiate ones, i know in the good olde days you could never relly bothered looking lately
