| Junior Member | Okay I will start by saying this is my first ground up comp build and it is not even a week old. In any and all games (Guild Wars, Rise of Nations, Quake 4, Warcraft III) I expereince some form of clipping and lagging warcraft seems the least troublsome, guild wars I can't even get out of the sign in screen it lags so much, I can't tell if it's a video or sound problem because they both go stupid Here are system specs and you will see why I can't really figure this out Motherboard: ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Video: 2 in SLI setting Gigabyte nVidia 7600 GS NX76G 512MB RAM: 4 GB G. Skill 2x 2GB HDD: 320 GB SeaGate Barracude 16MB Cache Sata II Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 6600 2.4 GHz As far as I can tell I have all the updated drivers, I am having trouble updating my bios via ASUS but I don't think that's it. And these specs blow away anything that is need to run these games so what am I missing? Is there a setting that I'm missing? A particular driver I HAVE to have? I've been working at this for almost 12 hours straight if anyone can help I'd appreciate it greatly Greg | ||

Creative soundcards are known to prevent the ASUS updater from working correctly. It is also adviseable to also always update BIOS versions when you can as these can get to the root of many niggling problems. | ||

| Back Office Guy- ![]() | never used SLI, but you sure you got the cards looping right, if they loop. Cause sounds like to me you just not getting the full power of the graphics. I take it you have the moniter cable in the right card, and not pluggedin to the board by mistake make also be worth checking the game setup to determine if it is picking up the right GPU card
