Jarum-Game Creator allows you to create great games using a simple programming language. Once you have completed your game it can be compiled into a stand alone .exe file. Updates and bug fixes will be sent though the updater that comes with Jarum-Game Creator v1.0. We have also included a game wizard that allows you to create games with out having to code them.

Is it like GameMaker? These things are good if you want to get into games creation and/or programming (as you can make programs using them) but ultimately if you want to be a games developer your best bet is to learn Java or C++. These programs are good for the beginner but your game will suck if you're gonna only make it with this, good to do it in this to show your concept, idea etc. then once you've learnt a real programming language then you can develop it to what you already have and make any fixes you want while doing it that you couldn't have done with an editor like this.
