Default Computer Crash

Hi
I'm hoping that someone will be able to help a little here.......

I've got a few games on my pc, I've had no problem in the past, they all loaded ok and played ok. I haven't had time to play for a while and recently tried and encountered a few problems....

Toca3: No probs at all a year ago, now it plays until I complete a lap then freezes, the only way to get out of it is to switch my pc off as the whole thing crashes.

Moto GP3: Similarly, this freezes after a few minutes but I can get rid of it by ctlr-alt-del and using task manager.

Both of these games I have uninstalled and re-installed but have the same problem. There's no visible defect on the discs neither.

However, If I load up Medal of Honor Spearhead, there's no problem at all, I can play on and offline for as long as I like. I thought perhaps it might be a disc player or graphics card problem (although I'm no expert) until I tried this game and had no problem!!

Has anyone any idea to why my system is behaving like this?????

Something might be conflicting with the game, or something internal is wrong.

Is 31 really much? Currently I have 71 processes going

yer the less you have the better, I have 19 running now with programs on, and this is high for me. Dont get me wrong I have a good computer and most people do these days so it doesnt really matter, but having less running means you will use less of you RAM and CPU so your PC will run alot faster

My computer used to crash on games because of a driver conflict. My computer had a driver installed that was very old. I suggest updating drivers such as video card drivers, sound card drivers, and possible motherboard drivers.
