Can't you just do networking insted of online gaming

Can't you just do networking insted of online gaming, meening say all you freinds come round and they had there pc's with them is there know way of doing like a gaming club so that you can all fight etc etc.

I do play games but not online

There is no need to scoot, we have our own server so it is like going to your mates house and having network anyway.

Networking your computer to your mates is possible and can be very enjoyable, i have only done it the once and i thought it was great!

My guy friends battle each other in LAN but only in an internet cafe. Most of them have one computer at home and have no interest/knowledge in setting up a LAN for gaming. As for online gaming, it becomes cool because you get to meet with a lot of people, sometimes trade items, or join clans. At the computer cafe they also have established a thing similar to a gaming club, even while they play online RPG.

Sure you can play with your mates and network your PCs. ( which involves dragging ur PC around). Or you can play onlin eand make new mates. Or you can even do both, like me

You can simulate a network with any person on the internet using a prog called hamachi, great for lan gaming with anyone.

A lot of games support lan play. I used to play Q3 and UT a lot with a few mates over a lan, it's a lot of fun and not that difficult to set up.
