Higher Resolutions

A friend of mine got a larger monitor for computer gaming. His problem is about setting up the game's video options to optimum size. He can't seem to make it work. He has tried other wide screen options but they fail. Any suggestion would be great.

Please could you tell us what monitor type and size he has, also what graphics card and maybe software he could be using

Sorry, he doesn't know about his graphic cards details, as long as he can play.

All he can tell me is that the new monitor is 21 inches and the game, I think, is Counter-Strike.

Yeah, I'm not sure. It'd definitely be easier with some more details.

He needs to contact valve and ask them.
