City-Building Games

Is there anyone here who is also playing City-Building games like Pharoah, Emperor, or Civilization Series? I know it is very time consuming but I just love to see the buildings when they are done.

ive played pharoah quite a few times, it gets boring pretty quick though....

I really enjoy those types of games but prefer it when their is a purpose at the end like a good battle such as warcraft2, starcraft etc...

All though i am still a fan of the Tycoon servies my favourite being the original transport tycoon Class game

im still convinced that the age of empires series is the best RTS of all time

What about Starwars battle grounds, i think its on the same level of age of empires its great online , lol you need at least a full day though

the only starwars game that ive played is jedi outcast, which is amazing, but ive never played the game your talking about

No mention of Sim City

I thought this to be one of the classic of city building games, great detail when you have full city working. I burned many hours learning that game

lego star wars was ok, i just found myself feeling like a dork while playing it, like its bad enough that im playing video games, but video games about legos and starwars har har *pushes up glasses*

i give sim city a 0 out of 5, horrible game, i dont have a reason, because i love the sims, i just cant stand sim city for some reason

I share your comment about sim city sloth!

I don't get satisfaction in playing sim city. But "the sims" get my full attention when playing it.
