Will Call Of Duty become like Counter Strike?

Do you think that call of duty will stay a very good game in years to come like counter strike, there are views on the internet that make out that call of duty is already competing with counter strike, do you think this is true?

Nar if call of duty was that good why they need to make a call of duty 2 , souped up graphics that you need high end graphics cards to notice even just a small difference rather spend the money on half life and get 2 games for 1, many more with some of the other mods about.

Any one played the the other mods ????
