COD2 map tools

hey kad i have downloaded that COD2 map tool and wanted to know do i have to copy my cod2 and install it on the comp once done that do i unzip the folder to cod2 main folder?

or can i just install my game again?

if its a file where u save and download from the site then u save to main cod2 folder and extract all.. thats what i normaly do

If you looking at modding but donnt want to mess the orginal game up i would copy the COD2 directory and then do your modding, will allow you to overwrite using the backup if the modding fails

Though when i was looking the other day sure you can create additonal stuff by createing an extension to the main cod folder. Will find the sites if you are instersted some where on here

yer you need to copies really, you dont have to its just that you have to play with the IWD files and and extract them, but this is not a needed job as it will still work but if you ever want to uninstall the playing copy you use then you will loose some work as well

oh and also there have been reports of punk buster not likeing it
