IGN:

"Neither Shigeru Miyamoto nor Eiji Aonuma will be directing the Legend of
Zelda title. Both serve as producers. A new, still-secret director will helm
the project"

I think Silicon Knights is out.

The only thing I can hope from this Zelda is that they attempt to make it
mesh with other Zelda games. I don't like how Win Waker has almost nothing
to do with Ocarina, even though they make many references that the other
link, AKA the hero of time....

What are you talking about? Wind Waker absolutely IMMERSES itself in
Zelda 64's lore; you can't experience a new event without seeing its
ties to OOT.

And yet there are many parts that make no sense. Gannondorf became Ganon at
the end of Ocarina, so why is he Ganondord again in Wind Waker?
Other question are unanswered. How did the world become flooded? Why does it
remains flooded? Were did the new princess zelda actuallly come from?

Nerermind how hard is to rationalize the plot holes between all the other
games.

The sages sealed his power, and turned him back to his original form;
he subsequently promised vengeance.

....and I hope they DON'T do that. Wind Waker is the only time they ever
have, and it was cool to see references to Ocarina of Time, but mostly
because that was a better game than WW.
Every other Zelda game that had any kind of tie to another one went pretty
much like this: "After Link's last adventure, he went to ... and found a new
adventure." And that's it. Let the game stand on its own. Trying to
retro-write a story to encompass all the incompatible versions of the Zelda
games is an exercise in futility. If they'd like to say "this game takes
place after Majora's Mask, Link is grown up again, and the land is in
peril..." that's great, but I think they should leave it at that, like they
always have before.

I thought Wind Waker was a lot better than Ocarina. Triforce collecting
excepted.

In a lot of ways, I agree. Overall, no. Like I said, the combat was much
better. So was the overall control scheme. The story was better, though
I'd only call it "good" by Zelda standards. Visually, it was a masterpiece,
of course, but then so was Ocarina at the time.
Where Wind Waker didn't deliver was in the extremely low difficulty, the
lack of dungeons/overall length, the overdependence on one world theme (ie.
all ocean vs. Ocarina's lakes, forests, plains, deserts, etc), and of
course, the deservedly much-despised art style.
