Default Might And Magic Lives On!

If you're a fan of Might And Magic, you'll be happy to know that not only is Ubisoft resurrecting Heroes Of Might And Magic - it also took Might And Magic along with it!

"Dark Messiah of Might And Magic", slated for a September 2006 PC release, incorporates all the standards of Might And Magic fame - weapons, armor, magic, fabulous worlds and deep storyline. A bunch of improvements have been added to jump itself beyond the standard first person RPGs such as Elder Scrolls. One of the biggest improvements is that it now incorporates the Half-Life 2 engine. Do not expect another Might and Magic IX with THIS source engine in mind! You'll be doing more than hacking and slashing with this game. Another neat addition is specific body damage - if you hit the enemy's helmet, it'll chip off and it'll make him/her more susceptible to damage especially in the head area.

New World Computing may have hit the proverbial floor, but the series lives on. Anticipation awaits!
