Wolfenstien

Anyone ever played the Wolfenstien series like Wolfenstien: 3d, Castle Wolfenstien or Return to Castle wolfenstien?

Also they have a mulitiplayer wolfenstien called Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory, based off the Q3 engine that is free online.

I believe Wolfenstein 3D would've been more recognized if it weren't for Doom, because Wolfenstein is the one that REALLY started the FPS genre.

Could've been more recognized if the later games were better. But with heavy competition back then (Duke Nukem, Quake to name the few), it was simply too much to handle. Although it did generate popularity, it sunk back quick.


I liked Return To Castle Wolfenstein most out of the series.

Return to Castle Wolfenstien IS the newest one, and they based the multiplayer game Enemy Territory (built off the Q3 engine) off that, but RTCW still has its own standalone multiplayer.
