No, not too stupid, I just don't bother doing things that aren't worth
the effort involved. Googling for information about you would be one of
them. I guess that you're just not interesting enough.

Of course if someone piques my interest, if they seem to be intelligent,
to have a little wit or style, are entertaining and possibly hold
opinions that have merit, then I might consider looking a little closer.
If ever you manage to meet any of those criteria try me again.

Well if not wanting to broadcast personal details all over Usenet simply
to satisfy a boorish demand from a non-entity like yourself makes me a
phony, then by all means, regard me as a phony. I will delight in my
"phoneydom" (as I go about keeping my personal life personal).

Afraid? No. Cautious yes. I am not a very PC person as you may have
noticed, and I often offend people who can be devious and spiteful. Why
give them a helping hand? A year or three back I had a problem with
someone who managed to get my full details, as well as those of my
family and staff. Had to get the Police involved before all the
offensive phone calls and emails stopped. No real drama, just a bloody
nuisance. I don't care much about myself, I'm a big boy, but I don't
want my business reputation damaged.

I actually do have quite a long history of posts under another, older
"nom de net" where I always have to mind my manners and bite my tongue.
With "Salty" I am just fooling around and don't have to mind anything. I
like it that way - not that I often get really obnoxious. But I can, if
I wanted to do so.
