I've found that concerns for specific buy/sell ratios, inflation, etc. are irrelevant. As for reasonable profits, a two to four fold profit for specific items (esp. the "better" decorative collectibles") seems to be the norm. Usually, specific items are purchased for up to a couple of dollars, and resell for a few dollars each. It is the collective sales of many of these low priced items where the majority of profits are made. For most Ebay sellers, ebay sale only deliver part-time, extra income. Hence, most sellers don't have to concern themselves with what are best left to MBA wonks e.g, buy/sell ratios, inflation, etc.

Only if you have a negative Leavenworth Ratio. 2:1 or 4:1 SBR's mean you do not have the faintest clue what your true costs are. HINT: Start with your pro rated water bill. ALWAYS seek out a 30:1 or higher SBR! http://www.tinaja.com/glib/ebaysell.pdf -- Many thanks, Don Lancaster voice phone: (928)428-4073 Synergetics 3860 West First Street Box 809 Thatcher, AZ 85552 rss: http://www.tinaja.com/whtnu.xml email: don@tinaja.com Please visit my GURU's LAIR web site at http://www.tinaja.com
