It does FCP and MM labels. Not sure about ScanForm. -- Regards, Bob Niland mailto:name@ispname.tld http://www.access-one.com/rjn email4rjn AT yahoo DOT com NOT speaking for any employer, client or Internet Service Provider.

Once you print the label and place the package in the mailbox and (this is the most important part) put the little flag on the mailbox in the "up" position - the carrier pickup is auto- matically scheduled. > I had to put in a date to be shipped or picked up? | Can I do insurance with USPS carrier pickup? Delivery confirmation? The Paypal label may have a tracking bar code on it, but I don't know if that works as delivery confirmation.

USPS insurance, quite apart from the blue "steal me, I'm worth at least $50.01" stickers, is a degenerate case of "shipping insurance is a way to ensure that you pay way more in premiums than you ever collect in claims". Smart buyers know this, too. Cut the buyer a break and assume the risk except for business-fatal risk levels. > Delivery confirmation? No problem. > The Paypal label may have a tracking bar code > on it, but I don't know if that works as delivery confirmation. It is DC for everything that isn't SC or full tracking (Express). I don't think you can print labels thru PayPal without at least DC. -- Regards, Bob Niland mailto:name@ispname.tld http://www.access-one.com/rjn email4rjn AT yahoo DOT com NOT speaking for any employer, client or Internet Service Provider.

I've mailed hundreds of used computer parts. Only 1 was damaged in delivery. Got run over by a vehicle. Most of my items less than $100. If I weigh a package as 17.9 pounds but it actually weighs 18.1 or 18.2, will they reject or return the item with carrier pickup? My scale isn't super precise. That would stink. 17.9 uses the 18 pound rate. 18.2 goes as 19. UPS is different as they can adjust minor weight errors and either add or subtract the difference to your bill.

Other possibilities include: - silent dead letter (esp. for MediaMail & Parcel Post) - delivered with postage due > ... with carrier pickup? That hasn't much to do with it other than that the pickup person won't / can't weigh it. > My scale isn't super precise. No excuse. If you want to sell on eBay, and don't want to overestimate (overpay) postage, you need an accurate scale. Buy one on eBay. There is at least one reputable discount seller known to the regulars here. > UPS is different as they can adjust minor > weight errors and either add > or subtract the difference to your bill. The USPS is still too much a government agency. They are yet decades away from comprehension of customer satisfaction. Repeal the Express Statutes. That'll straighten 'em up real fast. -- Regards, Bob Niland mailto:name@ispname.tld http://www.access-one.com/rjn email4rjn AT yahoo DOT com NOT speaking for any employer, client or Internet Service Provider.
