eBay scam - purpose revealed?

I got an "eBay Question from seller" email this morning with an attachment
(Golf and Fitness Tracking.xls.scr). It wasn't addressed directly to me and
it wasn't for one of my items ... see below (and my response to the
"sending" email).

Heads up to watch those "Questions" emails.

This is a warning that your email address is being used to disseminate a
virus (packaged in a .scr attachment as referenced below). Either your
machine has been infected or your email or eBay address may have been
hijacked - if you answered an email purporting to be from eBay to verify
your user id recently, that's probably where they got it.

I suggest you go to eBay and change your eBay password immediately, in that
case.

These viruses almost always have a forged sender's address. It may be
someone innocent, or non-existent.
