Dutch auctions - bugger!

In the new format it's not nearly so obvious things are a Dutch auction.
Just bid over the odds for an item - grrr. I was the only bidder too.

Umm is it just me, or is it common sense never to bid over what you're
willing to pay, because you might end up paying it....if you don't like that
amount, don't bid it in the first place! jeez

Would have been happy to pay the amount had there been another bidder.
But I was the only bidder! That's the point and what makes dutch
auctions different. jeez! In the old format it was obvious.

You still can't complain, you won the item at a price you were willing and
happy to pay. Can't have your cake and eat it.

Is it me or have others noticed that the But It Now sales aren't as obvious
as well? I mean when the item has closed because someone has already used
BIN.

I don't think much of the new lay out anyway.

Agreed. Sometimes it can difficult to work out if an item has had any
bids yet. Or even if you've won it! Depends how you're logged into ebay
as well. Bring back the old format.
