<sigh> Sweetheart, I work in this industry. Those you refer to are my
standard settings, and I have changed nothing. It is slow today, it was slow
on my 1 Gb link from work today, and it is slow on dialup. I think it's
slow today. I'd blame Pipex and Uunet, if it weren't for the fact that every
other flipping site is fine....

Yup, it's putting up incomplete items, it crashed while we were listing
a bunch of Lemony Snicket books (and we'd just spent half an hour on
that description AND tried out the new logo I designed earlier) - having
redone the listing it's not visible on any search even though three
other books I listed since (nice cheap 1960's Penguin SF firsts) are
appearing ...

Much faster now than earlier though, we lost 2 auctions this evening by
being unable to log bids fast enough ...
