ebay email

Anyone else having a problem using 'email this item to a friend'?

Every time I try to use this facility I click on 'send' and the following
error message appears:

"Warning: Unable to send auction item notice
Sorry, we could not send the item information to your friend via e-mail.
Please check your friend's e-mail to ensure it is valid and try again. If
the e-mail is valid, your friend may be having problems sending or receiving
mail; you may wish to contact his/her service provider. "

Friends email was correct, tried sending via Ebay's own email contact page,
I even tried sending one to myself! Nothing worked, I kept getting the same
error message.

I tried using Ebay help to contact support, filled in the form, clicked on
'send'... and blow me down... got a message saying :

"Unable to send email
Sorry, we could not send the email now!"

I've also realised that neither have I received any daily status reports on
items I'm watching for several weeks. I've checked my Ebay user profile
and preferences and they're all correct.

Don't really know what to do now so would be grateful for any help/ideas.

Might have been a temporary glitch, I've just tried it and it worked fine.

A friend also tried and it worked fine for them too .

The problem is, if I can't use the contact support facility how am I
supposed to get them to check out what's wrong with my account?
