Since starting selling towards the end of last year, I have received 600+
cheques. One bounced first time round but was cleared on re-representing
and one for over £40 was stopped by the buyer who had her cheque book and
cheque card stolen. Unfortunately she didn't tell me! I did get a
replacement cheque a couple of weeks later. Other than that, no problems at
all.

Most of my sales are small items such as keyrings, fridge magnets, videos
and books. Most sell for less than £10 and I normally send them out without
waiting for cheques to clear. All items sold for £10 and over, are held
until the cheques have cleared.
