Hi Bryan

basically it's a way for people to accept credit/debit card transactions

As a buyer, you send money to someone via their email address and it costs
nothing

As a seller, you can take online payments, it costs you 20p plus a couple of
% (it's all in the fine print at www.paypal.com).

You can either spend the balance to pay ebay fees, or buy from other
sellers, or you can transfer it to your bank (which takes about a week, like
most bank transfers)

It's owned by eBay

Fastpay.(http://www.fastpay.co.uk/)
Run by Natwest in this Country, they are pretty cheap, and from what I
have used it for, very efficient.

My thanks for your replies. I have an account with Nat West, so maybe that
would be better for me to use.

Again Thank you all.

Can they handle internationall sellers, like me? I'm British, live abroad, but I
have a UK bank account (offshore, Royal Bank of Scotland International) so I can
accept payments in pounds sterling.

I previously used netbanks ( http://www.netbanks.net/ ) but they went down the
pan and seem to be in a state of limbo right now.

Paypal is not an option here in the Philippines.

It uses UK debit cards, so if you've got one of those you'd probably be able
to use it, otherwise not.
