| I'm getting really fed up with how slow ebay is these days. If I press reaload it takes over 20 secs to refresh an item (without the pics!). Used to be around 10. My mate's machines is taking the same time to the second. We both only have ISDN (can't get ADSL). Anyone had any luck getting things to move a bit faster? My mate was told by ebay to try MSIE 6 (he's on 5 and Win 2000) but I can't see that helping. What's performance like on ADSL? -- Who needs a life when you've got Unix? :-) Email: john@unixnerd.demon.co.uk, John G.Burns B.Eng, Bonny Scotland Web : http://www.unixnerd.demon.co.uk - The Ultimate BMW Homepage! I'm on 56k, using IE6 and have the same refresh time as you and your mate. Your mate should, however, upgrade to IE6 anyway (if he's happy using IE - I am) because the security is a lot better. | Depending on time of day and the size of the page, my refresh rate varies between 3 and 8 seconds, including pictures. Mike On Tue, 15 Jul 2003 21:10:52 +0100, John Burns <john@unixnerd.demon.co.uk> wrote: > >What's performance like on ADSL? | |||
