| Well, the character to whom I delivered neutral feedback (he sent the wrong bloody goods, but he did sort it out and re-send, this time the right ones) has been sending me nicely abusive emails. Seems he took exception to my mentioning, on the feedback, that I was out of pocket as a result of having to post the stuff back to him. Claims he enclosed the postage dosh - he might well have done. All I know is I never saw it, and nothing fell out of the pack with the goods, but if he sealed it up with the packaging, then into the bin it went. If it was a cheque, it hasn't been cashed. Anyway, I've had one of those lovely emails that should be all in purple crayon: "YOU LYING BASTARD...." etc etc. I also pointed out, reasonably, that with all the hassle and extra postage costs, I'd have been better off buying from a shop, especially as he first tried "padding" the P&P by 20%[1], to which he responded that the goods cost ukp32 (I paid 12.50), so I sent him the url of a highly respected shop that sells them for ukp12.05+VAT+P&P. I've tried, ever so reasonably, to point out to him that neutral feedback is just that: neutral. Doesn't affect his 100% rating. "I'M ONLY HUMAN... DON'T YOU EVER MAKE MISTAKES?" he whinged. Answer, yes, and if I do, I'd expect neutral feedback (at least). You screw up, and he did, then you're not going to get praise, are you? Anyway, if I get more of his poison pen, is it worth complaining to Ebay? Or will they just tell me to **** off, ignore me, or charge me for their arbitration service? I mean, it's not a dispute - I've got the goods, and they work, but I've got this looney tune irritating me just because I left neutral feedback, ffxake..... [1] Claimed it was 4 quid, later revised to ukp3.32. special delivery, I think. When I posted the stuff back, first class, it cost me ukp2.10..... -- Trophy 1200 750SS CB550F2 CB400F ST70 YTC#3 GAGARPHOF#30 GHPOTHUF#1 IHABWTJ#1 BOTAFOT#60 ANORAK#06 OSOS#1 BOF#30 WUSS#5 Home page awaiting transfer to Pipex | |||

Doesn't affect his 100% rating. "I'M > ONLY HUMAN... DON'T YOU EVER MAKE MISTAKES?" he whinged. Now give feedback outlining that you have been subjected to a torrent of abusive emails. You wouldn't be lying, and you have proof. Kinda childish I know. > > Answer, yes, and if I do, I'd expect neutral feedback (at least). You could, if the numpt persists, write a strongly worded ( think Annoyed of Ambridge type ) to his ISP. Overall, don't taunt him and hope he goes away may be the best plan. > [1] Claimed it was 4 quid, later revised to ukp3.32. special delivery, I > think.
