| MK PitStop Member | Ebay shoppers are being alerted to a new scam known as "Second Chance". What has been happening is that bidders who lost out on an auction are sent an email offering them a second chance to buy the item they missed. The email includes a link to the fraudsters site and offers the opportunity of a second chance to buy the item. Unfortunately it is a scam and any bidder who pays for the item looses their money. The fraudsters' site looks identical to Ebay | ||

| MK PitStop Member | I had a similar experience with a buyer who made the highest winning bid and following that sent some fake emails as if from ebay and paypal asking me to ship the item immediately without even paying for it. All the paypal receipts show that he made a payment which I never received and finally I confirmed that all those receipts were FAKE. | ||

| MK PitStop Member | Just check the emails which you receive from ebay like ones and compare them with the original ebay mails. You can observe a slight difference in the email id. Then you can know that it is a fake one. Same for paypal as well. | ||
