| I'm currently stringing along a con artist who offered me a second chance offer (which seems to be the current favourite) for an item I lost. ( my bid was £1000). this guy has been at the same IP address all day - in fact possibly all night since I got he offer last night and he replies to emails within in seconds of receiving them. I've contacted eBay, the other bidders - one of whom was actually going to pay him - and also aol (his server) to report it but is there anything else I can do to actually CATCH before he realises his £1000 western Union payment isn't going to appear. It appears from the headers that the emails originate in Amsterdam, although he provided a genuine UK address in London ( electoral roll shows a single lady living there). Anyone any ideas. it annoys me to just let him get away | |||
