Default Paypal Buyer Protection Insurance

Don't reply on any Paypal Buyer protection insurance. When you buy
and check out their protection it states that it provides protection
if the item shipped is signifcantly different from that described in
the listing. These shysters decide what is significant!

If the seller ships you anything, probably even an empty box, Paypal
will "investigate" and a few days later send you e-mail saying the
case is closed and "Policy only applies to the shipment of goods, not
to disputes about the attributes or quality of goods received.
Therefore, we cannot reverse this transaction or issue a refund." They
point you to a webaddress where you can't leave any comments or
e-mail.

I was not about to let that slide and I filed a second Paypal claim,
contacted my VISA and at first was told they would not get involved
but when I explained that Paypal is the seller when it comes to the
insurance, they would do a chargeback. Of course I also contacted the
police and was told an EBay/Paypal horror story, "PayPal is not a very
good company, and will try to weasel out of any refund despite their
promises."

I did eventually get a refund but it still cost me the return shipping
fees and Paypal fees.
