| Hello everyone, Here are 10 reasons why you should take your time and choose a drop shipper carefully. 1. Make sure they are who they say they are (check with BBB and ask for tax id). 2. Make sure you have all of their contact info and not just an email (name of owner, physical location, etc). 3. Make sure they offer prices low enough for you to still make a profit selling on eBay. 4. Ask a lot of questions about shipment time. This is a very important step because slow shipments can cause negative feedback. 5. Ask questions about products you're interested in. Make sure the product you're selling is as advertised and not a "knockoff". 5. Ask questions about their inventory. Do they physically have the products they offer or do they have to obtain them from another supplier once you've requested it be shipped to your customer. 6. Don't just list everything they have thinking you will make money. Do your research to make sure the product will sell before you even list it. Research, Research, Research on each product. 7. Get clear on all hidden drop shipping fees. Shipping and handling, processing fees, etc. It's important to know exactly what your cost will be on each product so you don't pay more for it than what you're going to make. It's better to learn this ahead of time then after the fact. 8. A true drop shipper will address a package so it looks as though it is coming from you directly. This means they won't include any of their own advertisements or information with your package. 9. Ask for references. You may not be able to get any, but it's definitely worth asking. 10. Order a product and have it shipped to yourself as a customer. This gives you the chance to see the overall appearance of a package your customers will receive. Don't let the drop shipper know it's you receiving the package, but a customer of yours. This will also allow you to confirm any type of advertisements or information of theirs they include.
