| Is anyone using, or planning to use, The Nebula Engine? ( http://www.radonlabs.de/nebula.html ) ( http://nebuladevice.sourceforge.net/...Nebula/WebHome ) I'd be very much interested in collaborating, finding people to discuss problems and solutions with, etc. Why? Well, to be honest I don't think the SourceForge forums, the official Wiki, or the mailinglists are quite sufficient to get started with this complex engine - and I don't want to be a pain in the ass by constantly mailing some . In short - The Nebula Engine (TNE) needs more user created material outside of its core group (who, in my impression, mainly are communicating within their own group right now). My plan - since there are so few tutorials - is to learn step by step and at the same time write small and specific tutorials that hopefully will help other people getting started with TNE aswell (as I've hinted, the community around TNE right now seems, a bit "guru"... (and Internet-deficient Wikis). I don't know how large the community is, but such a fine game engine deserves alot more tutorials and "fan pages" - and those are currently very lacking). Among other things I plan to start up a Nebula Device Center, with a proper discussion forum to boot. I.e. if I get any response of any kind. Personally I'm interested in working with Nebula 1 to do small projects and "test of concept" applications, but on the side I plan to keep an eye on Nebula 2 aswell, just so I'm ready when it's a bit more complete. So, please, anyone interested in a online, "eXtreme Programming-like", learning cooperation - for either Nebula or Nebula 2 - please respond by e-mail or in this thread. /Xipe | |||
