With DirectX 9, the managed languages (C#, VB.NET and Managed C++) are now supported. Regarding C++ (my choice), pick an open language with a future, then concentrate on finishing your projects and not getting distracted with language debates. Ideally, strive to make your games so compelling that people would purchase a new console to run them. Have you ever heard a game player say, hey that game must be awesome it was written using DirectX 9 and C++? not ... MTFBWY. | |||
