Depending on your compiler, its much easier to simply use a resource file that binds your media with the executable, then use a function within your program to read the files. Theres no need to separate the exe and the waves that way. I found out how to do that, by searching the web for tutorials based on my compiler and such. So there is an easier way, but i dont know anything about molebox. Vinny | |||

| Hi Vinny. Thanks for the reply. in VB 6 I did find how to compile a resource file. I actually got molebox to work as well. I think one advantage to molebox is it lets you add any file type to the master container.exe file. That could be dll, ocx, graphics, sounds, documentation, whatever you want. As long as it isn't a file that needs to be written to, it can go in the compiled container.exe file." /justin Viper" <spam@this.com> wrote in message news:wkPab.521714$YN5.347311@sccrnsc01... > Depending on your compiler, its > much easier to simply use a resource file that binds your media with the > executable, then use a function within your program to read the files. | |||
