Something like Quake would cost millions to develop, and couldn't possibly be done in spare time. Even if the 3d is simple and can be done using a high-level tool, you would still need to design all the graphics, which again can't be done in spare time. However if you have the next Tetris then I would certainly be interested to hear. Email is valid.

| none of the above actually, the game is not like quake or tetris, I don't want to say much on the net but it is going to be large amounts of work, but it isn't the finished product I am interested is I need to make a prototype. Email is valid. If you know how to maximize results from the minimum invested time, you can do a lot with a little. I know my game (http://catluck.com/leopold) is no Quake, but it only took me 3 months of spare time to build. | |||

| I played your game, and found you quite annoying to play! :-P, none the less, my game is not anything like yours, I simply cannot program it by myself, I am going to need assistance from software and hardware designers. In order to get some money for my project I need a game design and people to help me. However I don't plan on programming in Java... I love my pointers too much! sending them via email a little later. I don't know the idea. Is there any way that it can be cut down so programming it is a spare time proposition? One problem with prototypes is that managers often demand to see the whole product as the prototype, so that they can decide whether it is worth investing the money to produce it. | |||

Unless you have some contracts with potential financial backers, its going to be very difficult to get publisher interested, even if the game idea is very good. I said "very difficult", not "totally impossible and not even worth considering".

| Check out www.nightscribeprod.com I think this could be something you are looking for. A friend of mine is involved in it and designed the website. I was supposed to do some writing for it, but haven't heard anything about it yet. Hope everything works out for ya.
