| MK PitStop Member | I've seen it on a lot of screenshots, but am anxious to hear it from a fellow user. It probably won't let itself work on some programs, but some other programs should bypass the OS requirement, although it'll have some system confusion. I also heard that it eats more laptop power than XP does. If you're trying it on a laptop, do tell us! | ||

| Member Level 2 | Somethings wil not run, but most software should... The bigger problem will be Drivers.. ensure that driver support is available for all your hardware... One suggestion (if you just want to try it) is to use Virtual Server from Microsoft... It's the high end version of Virtual PC but it's free... Just google Virtual Server 2005 R2. You should have no problem installing Vista inside that and running it on top of XP for testing, also the drivers should mostly work for you.. One thing to keep an eye out for are the specs of Vista.. 512MB RAM minimum, 15GB HDD Space, a Decent Video card... this is the first time you can't just grab an old junker and install the OS to test it. | ||
