| For all the problems with printing, security lockdowns, unable to run, 20 thousand step to get to a simple screen graphic card crashes you are all convincing me that my next machine will have XP Pro SP2................. Or I might just wait another 2 years for MS finally work be on Vista Ultimate SP3 and fix the mess and let the hardware catch on...... No reason to upgrade Thanks you all | |||

I find it hard to believe a faster system should require a faster computer to run tasks in a reasonable period of time. Of course if you buy a new computer, it is likly to be faster than your old one. I believe on the whole XP is faster, for the *same* hardware.
