OR............ you could just purchase a Vista system, like Dell's XPS, and
enjoy a remarkable computer experience where everything works faster,
prettier, and more efficiently. Note that a new system with preinstalled
Vista has all the hardware and software compatibility working just fine.
The "mess" that you're writing about is mostly the fault of users who don't
know what they're doing.

I agree with this poast completely. There is nothing wrong with buying a
brand name computer using the finest hand picked factory seconds components
that money can buy.

You're right - you and only you are top world computer expert and your
opinion is very important for us. Thank you my lord for share all those
words. All computers runing Vista will crush down and world will sink in
darkness... with printing problems and security lockdowns and totally
unable to run.

Why then does Vista require much faster hardware to run the same tasks
as could be run on XP with lesser hardware? I find it hard to believe a
faster system should require a faster computer to run tasks in a
reasonable period of time.

Of course if you buy a new computer, it is likly to be faster than your
old one. I believe on the whole XP is faster, for the *same* hardware.
Faster still is Linux of course.

> prettier,

agreed.

and more efficiently.

I've seen no evidence of that.

I agree with this poast. Vista users are complete and utter morons and
should be strung up by the balls.
