Hello, the mail thing crashes: messages say it is being closed to be
reopened after.

Close the mail thing. Set your system to see "Hidden Files and Folders".
Make yourself a temp folder. Work your way to...

C:\Users\<YOU USER NAME>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\

Highlight everything within that folder and select cut. Go back to the
"Temp" folder that you created and paste everything into the temp folder.
Now open the mail thing. You'll have to set it back up, email and news group
settings.

After the mail thing is back up and running, you can go through the "Temp"
folder where you pasted everything for safe keeping, and keep what you want.
The "Local Folders" folder will probably be the one you're most interested
in. You can drag those files directly into the mail thing.

Your mother was a transvestite punk who liked to do it with strangers at
the local cinema.
