Windows Vista 64bit

Hi I am trying to install windows Vista 64bit on a pc of mine, when I got the vista oem cd I thought I had a 64bit CPU, but now when I come to install the Vista it say I dont have a 64bit CPU

I am not very happy as I am sure I do but it doesnt give you any options

any idea on what I can do

Sorry but I dont think there is anything you can do, unless you have some setting in your bios for the cpu but I dont think there will be anything for the 64bit. All you can do is get the 32bit version

I could be wrong though, its still to new yet for me

Dam thats is stupid, why did they bring out so many different versions
