Good OS2 Substitutes?

I'm wondering what Linux substitutes are available for the Windows versions of the programs I use?

I use Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. I also do some flash animation on the side, is there a Linux version of Flash? I've absolutely no idea of the innards of Linux.

The Photoshop equivalent would be a program called The Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/), then you can install Gimpshop (http://gimpshop.com/) after, this will make it operate similar to Photoshop.

As for Dreamweaver, you won't be able to find a program that simulates the look and feel, but you can find programs that are very close to being fuctionally equivalent. A simple search for WYSIWYG editors on www.freshmeat.net will give you plenty of options.

For Flash you can use F4L (Flash for Linux). You won't find it to be as fancy, but like the Dreamweaver equivalents, it should do the trick. http://f4l.sourceforge.net/
