Drawbacks of Avast

Does any one experienced any problems using Avast free version (4.8something)? I heard the speculation of avast.

• Avast have poor detection of polymorphic and 0-day malware in addition to having limited self protection.

• RealPlayer goes BAD !

• False virus detection statements?

Is this true? Iam using avast and i have problems with playing videos

hello? for me so far i cant give you an advice for avast but i can share another experience with you which is to used another antivirus. you could try for bitdefender or kaspersky. they are the best and in demand antivirus in the market. here's the link for bitdefender just try. thanks.

i used Avast before and not now because i really dislike it. as for realplayer goes bad, i don't think that is true, at least Realplayer works fine on my computer. for false virus detection i never got that either. the reason i don't use it anymore, because it can't find virus for me, i used other programs and they can detect virus, so i don't recommand using avast. try other, they are a lot that are free too
