Check the quality of movie before downloading completely....

Many of us download a lot of movies, games, softwares etc.. from the internet. Most of these files will be either Rapidshare links or Megaupload links.
Sometimes we find the quality of the movies to be very horrible after downloading the entire movie. So, to avoid this problem we can use a small trick inorder to check the quality of the movie just by downloading one or two files.
Just follow these steps.
1. Download the files. (Either 1 or 2)
2. Then while extracting the files: < Extract files...
3. Then in the dialog box that appears, look for an option : Keep broken files.
It will be at the bottom of the dialog box.
4. Then extract files.
Now, you will get the video only for the files you have downloaded and you can check the quality of the movie. Its so simple.

PS: This works only for winrar files and not for 7-Zip files.

y you wana go to this process there is a simple way to check the sample of the movies that is if u have the first part then play with the Dziobas Rar Player it plays with out the remaining parts

But that needs a Dziobas rar player right. And by the way, the process I mentioned is not that complicated.

This is a simple process to check the quality of the movie. Any other software will do the same thing, it will extract the first file to temp folder and play it. It is same as extracting manually and playing. Most of us will have winrar, so your method is very useful to see the quality of the movie. Extracted movie can only be played in windows media player classic or vlc player. It cannot be played in windows media player. Windows media player classic or vlc player buffers the file and plays it. It is not possible with windows media player. So you need winrar and media player classic or vlc player.

Thanks Siriya. I forgot to mention about the players that will play the extracted file. Anyways VLC is a better option.

But you must open it in softwares like media player classic or VLC player which are capable of playing avi files which are broken...

for files split by hj split.
Download the file with name .001
Rename it to avi, then open it either in media player classic or VLC player.

Honestly guys, why do you download if you dont know the qualittY?
