Are we allowed to talk about P2P filesharing programmes, cause I have a problem with mine, but dont want to ask in case im breaking the rules, I know some forums can be funny about speaking about it.

I have been using Limewire for a while, and was always happy with it untill recently when it slowed down to downloads at 1 to 3 kb/s. No new software has been added to the comp and there is loads of Memory left, just wondered if anyone knew what to do.

Could be a virus, or has your broadband been messed up.

limewire has a habbit of doing this and also returning bogus search results....

for the bandwidth problem that you are having i think you should run the configuration wizard in limewire and reset everything from you network connection type, to the ports and firewall settings

also are you on a router or behind a 3rd party firewall? if so try disabling the firewall and/or going straight from the isp, rather than a router, this should help
