I want to install Kaspersky Internet security 6.0 in my computer. When I go to Kaspersky website, the download is available under "Trial versions" and also under "Product update". The download file size is different too, 22.7 MB and 19.9 MB respectively. Whats the difference between the two? If I download from "Product update" and activate it using the activation key does it make any difference?

I think product update is if you have old version of Kaspersky and if you don't have old version download the trial version. By the way I prefer Nod32 over Kaspersky. I have not used Kaspersky but I have seen the performance in my friends computer. I feel Nod32 is better.

yea i think one update is for older version and one is newer version. i think the bigger size update file is for older version kaspersky, so check your version and download the right one for you.

i also prefer nod32, i use it for a few years now and i like it, kaspersky..hm i personally don't like it much. but they are both free and quite famous
