| Hi all I think I've stumbled upon two bugs: #1 If I specify, say, 100 MB for disk cache, Opera happily accepts it but it seems not to use more than 20 MB anyway. At that point there was in my case some 4000 files in that flat cache directory. Is this a bug in Opera (3.50 final) or in Win98? I use FAT32. I have no idea what the limit is on number of files/directory. (Disclaimer: I like having a very big disk cache. I know it will only slow down things at *some* point, but at 40-50 Kbps a 20 MB cache for sure isn't too much and I would gladly try even more.) #2 Often when I browse a text file (I think it happens when it's a plain text file with no html and maybe only when it was in RAM cache and maybe if it's pretty large :-) I just get a white page. Knowing there should be something there, I change the zoom from 100% to anything else, and now the text is visible again! Then I can change back to 100% and it's still visible. [...och ur kaoset hördes en röst som sade: - Le och var glad, ty det kunde vara värre. Och jag log. Och jag var glad. Och det blev värre.] | |||

It still worked fine at that point. This on NT4 with FAT16. Doug > >[...och ur kaoset hördes en röst som sade: >- Le och var glad, ty det kunde vara värre. >Och jag log.
