| I've been looking at the latest version of Opera to see if it works well with the documentation and support services of ERP system supplier SAP AG. As a browser, v3.50 does not seem able to work with SAP's secure (https) web site for consultants and customers. This may well be SAP problem not adhering to w3c standards, but as it works with IE they won't be bothered More disastrously, SAP provide their most recent documentation in a compiled html file format (*.chm). This requires a Microsoft applet (hh.exe) to read. I presume hh decompiles the chm file and pipes it into IE. This applet seems to work only with IE. Is there a mechanism for using it with Opera? -- Neale Hind | |||

If it works with IE but not Opera it's most likely due to using NTLM (NT Lan Manager) auth-type, which is supported by IIS/MSIE, and in Netscape via a plugin. -- Tor Iver Wilhelmsen toriw@online.no | |||
