Default Library Catalog - can't export records

I am using the 16bit version of Opera 3.5. I think I have tried both
beta 8 and the final version. Open http://jefferson.lib.co.us if you
click on "catalog", then do a search say on author, click on one of the
listings, click on "save marked records", then click on "email
results". In the final version I got a error about a problem with the
"export". In the beta 8 version I would not get the record I selected
but other records in the list and if I cleared the saved records and
tried something totally different, I still got the results from the
first search. I even exited Opera and came back in and the erroneous
search results appeared no matter what I did.

We are using Opera for our Patron Access Computers in a large county
library system in Colorado, but will have to switch to one of those
OTHER browsers if we can't solve this one. Otherwise we have been happy

with Opera.

Jane--

Your e-mail address bounced, so I'll take the liberty of replying to the
group.

The server software in question, Innovative Interfaces' WebPAC, generates
notoriously bad HTML and equally bad HTTP headers. I believe that both this
problem, and your other reported problem (POST forms with no ACTION
specified) have to do with Innovative's web pages than with anything Opera
can--or should--do. Innovative pretty explicitly develops their Web
software by saying, "If it works in the current version of Netscape, it's
good enough for us."

Partly due to prolonged yelling by our users, Innovative has cleaned up
their export function a little in their most recent release. You may want
to ask your systems office what their plans are for upgrading to Rel. 12.
