Default Save Window Mesage On Exit of Opera

Any way to skip the Save Windows? dialog box when exiting opera? There
is a perfectly good menu item for this and it's one more keystroke.

Default Save Window Mesage On Exit of Opera

An easy one:

Edit the opera.ini file (usually found in the windows directory), and
under:
[USER PREFS]

add the line:

SHOW EXIT DIALOG = 0.

The above brought to you courtesy of the Opera 3.50 Help file.

Be careful with that: one of the best things with Opera
which you should try out is the MDI (multiple document
interface). It's very handy to open dozens of windows with
- shift-click
- ctrl-shift-click
- open all folder items (in Lists menu)

If you have a lot of open windows and they are maximized
and you want to close one window and click the close
program icon instead of the close window icon you
loose all loaded pages. I enjoy beeing asked in this case :-)

BTW: it's worth while to have a look at the keyboard
shortcuts (ctrl-B).

Default Save Window Mesage On Exit of Opera

David,

I tried this for awhile and went back to being prompted too.
Only took about two mistakes to realize the extra prompt was
worth having. Besides, their default is at least set on Yes to
continue exiting...
