I have Spybot S&D running in my system. It is free, easy to use, and has got frequent updates. I used it when the PC got infected with spywarequake/spyfalcon. I use it with Norton Antivirus. They do okay, but I think I need another antispyware because they can't deal with other malicious spywares, like the Vundo trojan. I've heard a lot about Ad-Aware, but I don't have it. | ||

I dont use an antispyware my self all I use is windows firewall and AVG Free then CCleaner every now and then and that does the job for me on my computers  I did use norton but wow there crap they let everything past and after so long you have to pay again, then when you come to uninstall it you have to go into all your registery to remoce all the parts that dont get removed  | ||

I have SpySweeper istalled but can never bbe bothered to actually run it. I also use AVG free. | ||

I have XoftSpy, Ad-AwareSE and SpybotSD. To be sure, I also have HiJackThis ready for use. I have them scheduled to run at lunchtime so it doesn't bother much for daily scans. Do not use SpySheriff, btw. Very bad program! (Disclaimer: I didn't find this out by personal experience!  ) | ||

A lot of malwares pretend to be antispywares. You should also add Spyhunter to the bewares list. I'm not certain how bad a program it can get. Some websites that have helplines for cleaning your system from rogue infections will even provide a download link to Spyhunter. If you are not wary, you will have installed the spyware yourself. | ||

none.... plain and simple, antispyware is an attempt to patch problems from when the browser doesnt stop spyware from getting on your system, its a waste of space and time | ||

Is it foolish of me to say i don't use any?! I used to use spybot but it just kept finding rubbish stuff. Now i just use a filewall and mcafee to keep my computer smooth | ||
