Default Blue Screen Error- Stop: 0x0000008E

Just the other day I installed directx 9.0c and when i went to test it through the diagnostics tool, I got the blue screen of death. I got this error when i Tested DirectDraw and Direct3D. In the 3rd test of DirectDraw my computer crashed and after the first test of Direct3D my computer crashed. The error was [***Stop: 0x0000008E (0xc0000005, 0x00000025, 0xF5F36cc8, 0x00000000) ] When i sent in the error report it said that there was an error caused by Graphics Device Driver. I checked to make sure my directx installed properly by using the diagnostics tool, DirectX Files. It says that there is no problems found. Then i updated all of my drivers and that didn't solve the problem. Then i tried setting my refresh rate to the lowest value and turning off Hardware Acceleration yet the problem still occurs. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
