Can I use any brand of NIC to network my PC and use with "any brand" of 56K fax/modem to connect to the internet? Is it always necessary to add/use a router if I want 8 PCs to share an internet connection? What is the difference between a router and switch or hub? Can I still use my NIC if I will connect to the internet through a cable modem? | ||
