Default USB Problem

I keep getting a message saying there is a fault with a USB and that it can be corrected if I 'click here', which would be alright except my computer freezes everytime the box with the notification pops up, and so I cannot click on anything. It only lasts about 3 seconds but is recurring constantly.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem or could possible explain where I could manually locate the USB and determine which one is causing the problem?

Regards

PS Please take into account that I am have no idea what a USB is when replying. Thank you.

Hi

A USB is the socket that you plug in things like new mouse or keyboard etc etc.

This sounds like spyware to me, do you have any spyware scanners?

Default USB Problem

Thank you for your response.

That narrows down the problem for me, which suggest that it is the USB that supports the mouse. Could I be right? If so, what is the solution?

Do I have any spyware scanners, yes. Something called a zapper which scans every time I turn on my computer. Is that what you mean? If not then please clarify. Thank you.

Regards
