I want to known the differents of SATA and PATA exactly.Can you help me?

SATA stands for serial ATA and SATA speeds are either 150 MB/s or 300 MB/s. PATA stands for Parallel ATA more commonly known as IDE. The data speeds of PATA are 33 MB/s, 66 MB/s, 100 MB/s, and 133 MB/s. I highly suggest using SATA.
