| Member Level 1 | Can anyone recommend a good article that explains hard drive technical specifications? There are so many details involved that I wish I knew more about. My main concern is, what are the most important features to look for to ensure that you get a quality drive? Thanks Dave Jones Platinum Television Group | ||

I didn't write the website, and by the way it has nothing to do with hard drives. Also - for your information - We are currently considering the posibility of getting some new drives. I do know a little about web design, but nothing about hard drives. In the future please do not respond to this posting unless you have something useful to contribute. __________________________ Dave Jones Platinum Television Group

Also with me being the owner and the maker of this website, replies like yours don't go down well, and a simple riply like no its not spam would have been better. When looking for a harddrive you should look into what you would be using it for and what space you would need, as for Platinum Televisions I have not got a clue as I my self havent had any dealings with these and didnt even know that they would contain a HDD, but as I can get info if you want I will try and find out the best I can on Platinum Television HDD's. Thank you.

| Member Level 1 | Sorry MadKad, I didn't mean to sound rude in my reply. Thanks for the forum etiquette suggestions since I am still sort of new to forums. By the way - Hard drives for TV's are really cool and everything, but I was actually talking about the type of hard drives that we use for our computer network. The computers we have now are sort of old. I know only a little about hardware, but always try to perform my own computer upgrades since I don't like paying someone else do something that I can do myself. thanks so much ___________________ Dave Jones Platinum Television Group | ||
